With 15+ years experience in the world of Finance working for others, I decided instead to work for myself, primarily from home so that I could enjoy my young children whilst they were just that!

 ‘Interpreting’ accounts for the novice has always been a specialty as has sorting out ‘backlogs’ to return a business’ books to its transparent best!!  Just the Basics Bookkeeping is all about providing a logical, reliable service to form a solid base upon which the new or small entrepreneur can build and grow his/her business.

 I have comprehensive experience in all aspects of general bookkeeping and financial reporting in addition to payroll processing (with particular interest in salary sacrificing and FBT).  I have worked for private enterprise, local government, PBI’s and not for profit organisations so I have been exposed to a variety of accounting practises.

I use Reckon (Quickbooks) accounting software - either desktop or online.

I am an ATO registered BAS Agent and a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
